Mettle Communications was recruited to launch a revolutionary new technology, a robotic kitchen, and the company behind it - Moley Robotics. Working to tight deadlines we created a strategy which included staging a series of previews for key media ahead of the trade launch at Hannover Messe, the world's biggest automation show. We also ensured we had collateral available to share with media in the form of background information, stills and moving imagey - CGI and B roll of the prototype.
This plan helped Moley Robotics become the major international story from Hannover, generating c.£3m worth of coverage:
- 900+ online articles on leading news and technology sites, all carrying they key messages
- Substantial news pieces in opinion forming media including The Times, Financial Times, Time Magazine, Economist, Wired, Huffington Post, Mail Online and Ars Technica
- Major broadcast coverage from outlets including BBC, CNN, NBC, ZDF and Al Jazeera
Mettle's profile raising activity generated customer deposits - two years ahead of the consumer product being launched - and approaches from major major international manufacturers interested in partnering with Moley Robotics.
Our team is now working on the public debut of the Robotic Kitchen at CES Asia in Shanghai and supporting the ongoing development of the business.
